The Chorus depends on your financial support to continue singing. Our donor program, the Friends of CMC, constituted almost 30% of our budget last year.

Here are 7 reasons why you should consider contributing to the Friends of CMC this summer.

1. OUR MUSIC CHANGES LIVES. Every singer has a story to tell about how their involvement has made a positive impact in the world.
2. You enjoy our unique brand of entertainment. It's hard to put a label on the kind of shows we perform. It's not really legit choral performance (at least not all of it!), and it's not theater. Somewhere in the middle is our niche and it's something you can't find anywhere else in Cincinnati.
3. You get a tax deduction. CMC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
4. Free tickets. By donating at least $500, you are entitled to receive complimentary tickets to our subscription series. (Accepting the tickets does reduce the tax-deductible portion of your gift, however.)
5. Less than half of our operating expenses are funded by ticket sales. We depend on constantly shrinking grant funds, and generous donors to help us continue our mission.
6. It feels good. You've learned from Avenue Q that, "when you help others, you can't help helping yourself!" Ok, that sounds lame, but it's true; Without a doubt the number one reason why we give is because it is the right thing to do and we feel so darn good about it.
7. It's really easy. You can donate securely online with your credit card or Google account. You can send in a check. We can even do an automatic deduction and spread your gift out over a 12-month period.
