Here are all the rules governing the purchase, and – if you win – redemption
of the raffle tickets for the vacation drawing:
* The price is $10 per ticket, or 7 tickets for $50 or 15 tickets for $100, payable by cash,
check or credit card. Checks must be made payable to CMC. If purchased by mail, send the
check and entry information to: Cincinnati Men's Chorus, Vacation Raffle, P.O. Box 3061,
Cincinnati, OH 45201. (Do not send cash through the mail.) CMC will mail your raffle tickets
to you within 2 weeks of receipt of your order.
* Checks or Credit card orders that are declined by the bank will disqualify
the raffle ticket.
* All tickets must be purchased by August 11, 2010. A maximum of 2,500 tickets will be sold, and
ticket sales will cease when that number is reached. Any raffle ticket orders received after
August 11, 2010, will be returned to the sender. Cut off date to purchase tickets may be extended by
up to 30 days at the discretion of the Sonoma Raffle Committee.
* The prize drawing will be held on August 11, 2010. Winner will be notified by telephone and/or
email, and the info will also be posted on www.cincinnatimenschorus.org/raffle. Drawing date may be
extended by up to 30 days at the discretion of the Sonoma Raffle Committee./p>
* All prizes are subject to, and the winners are responsible for, any federal,
state or local income taxes.
* Cincinnati Men's Chorus and the provider of the accommodations will work with the winner to
schedule actual trip dates. Winner may choose any available dates in the months of August
through December, 2010. It is possible that alternative dates, past December, 2010, may be
booked if the accommodations are available.
* The prize consists of round trip air transportation for two from the continental U.S. city nearest
the winner's home to an airport in the Sonoma County, CA region, (Maximum ticket value of $450 each,
inclusive of all taxes and fees. Winner is responsible for the difference if the ticket cost is more
than the maximum value allowed but will not be given the difference if the ticket cost is less than the
maximum.), the use of a rental car for one week (The CMC will provide the winner with the dollar value
of a one week car rental which they may use to rent a vehicle in their own name. The Maximum value of
the rental reimbursement is $350 inclusive of all taxes and fees. Winner is responsible for the difference
if the rental fee is greater than the maximum value allowed, but will not be given the difference if the
rental cost is less than the maximum allowed.), and a one week stay (6 night maximum) at a private cottage in
Sonoma County, CA.
* Prizes not claimed by December 31, 2010 will be forfeited. There shall be
no substitution for the listed prize, and no cash equivalent will be awarded.
* Members of the Cincinnati Men's Chorus are eligible to win. However, members of the CMC Board of
Directors, paid staff members and members of the Vacation in Romantic Sonoma County, CA raffle
committee are not eligible to participate
* The net proceeds from this raffle will benefit the Cincinnati Men’s
Chorus. |
