Russell Winters Retiring from the CMC

After 18 years of dedicated service to the CMC as accompanist, Russell has decided to retire. Russell will be at the social hour of the first rehearsal on September 5th. Current and former members are welcome to say so long for now to Russell and to thank him for his years of outstanding service.

Dear CMC members –

It is with mixed emotions that I am informing you of my retirement from CMC, effective at the end of the current contract period, July 31, 2018. I am grateful for the opportunity to have served the Chorus for 18+ wonderful seasons, and I am proud of the work that CMC does to effect positive change in our community. I am looking forward to having a little more free time and to relaxing a bit. The Chorus is in a great place and is well-positioned to continue its history of artistic excellence under Steve’s most capable and talented direction!!!

I am looking forward to hearing CMC from the audience after all these years. I would be more than happy to occasionally sub at a rehearsal if needed. Also, if there is anything I can do to help find my successor, I am more than willing to assist.

Thank you and thanks for these rewarding years serving you.  It has been an honor.

Sincerely,

Russell
