Cincinnati Men’s Chorus Supports San Fransisco Gay Men’s Chorus

Cincinnati, OH – The Cincinnati Men’s Chorus condemns those individuals spewing vitriol and threats against the San Fransisco Gay Men’s Chorus (SFGMC) following a recent Pride video performance.  Far-right media outlets, including Fox News, Breitbart, and others have taken some of the lyrics of a parody song completely out of context in order to fan the flames of intolerance and anti-LGBTQ sentiment.  Members of the SFGMC and the organization itself have received harassment and death threats due to the reporting by these media outlets.

The Cincinnati Men’s Chorus stands by our brothers-in-song and celebrates all who seek to increase love, acceptance, and understanding of the LGBTQ+ community.

The SFGMC has said that they are working with the FBI and local law enforcement to end the harassment and ensure their members and staff are safe.  We hope that this comes to an end quickly and that through everything, their message of tolerance and fairness continues to shine.
